Jute

Jute is the finest and softest of all the natural fibres. It is silky to the touch and so is beautifully comfortable with a svelte feel about it. The Genus Cochorus grows in the more humid parts of Bangladesh.

The Jute fibres are taken from the middle of the stalk before being washed and then dried in the sun and, finally, spun.

The finished, buscuit coloured fibre is a fine one, so we feel that it works best in light wearing areas - perfect for bedrooms.
